How to get help
We provide free tutoring services to all students for almost every class. If you need a tutor you may request one on-line by filling and submitting the online form.
It will go directly to Faith N. Griffith in Academic Enhancement. She will then either e-mail or call you to let you know who your tutor will be.
If you prefer to request a tutor in person, you may visit Faith in the Cralle Student Center on the top floor or give her a call at 863-8038. She will be more than willing to assist you in any way that she can.
What is the difference peer based instruction and group tutoring?
A few classes have students assigned to them by faculty to help anyone who is in need of extra help. These students are peer based instructors and will sit in on your class and then lead free help sessions to assist you in better understanding your course work. Talk with your professor about when and where these sessions will be held. Group tutors will not sit in on your class, they will only lead the free help sessions.
