Adjunct Faculty in Education Department
Georgetown College seeks applicants for part-time (adjunct) professors to teach courses in the Department of Education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Field supervision of candidates in initial programs
- Special education
- Classroom management
- Educational research
- Multicultural education/diversity
- Foundations/philosophical perspectives in education
- Human Growth and Development
- Computer technology with emphasis on assistive technology
Competitive applicants will have a strong commitment to multicultural education, technology and inquiry learning, and will have at least three years of public school teaching experience. A terminal degree is desirable. Georgetown College is a private, liberal arts institution, and emphasis is placed on teaching excellence in the context of a church-related college.
