Governing Senate
2007 Belle of the Blue Winners
The Governing Senate is a group of eight students (two from each class) who are appointed through an application process. The Governing Senate meets once a month and is directed by the SGA Vice President. Among others, a very significant function of the Governing Senate is to make Constitutional decisions as well as vote on submitted grant applications.

Activities Senate
The Activities Senate works with its respective Executive Council Chairperson. The five chairs include Public Relations, Fine Arts, Campus Activities, Belle of the Blue & Hanging of the Green, and Homecoming & GLADD Week. Each chairperson has five Activities Senators who are appointed by an application process. These people meet at least once a month, but are expected to work more when activities are scheduled.
