Mrs. Madden is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Business Administration and Economics.  Prior to teaching at Georgetown she taught accounting and finance at Morehead State University (MSU) for nine years.  As a Sam Walton Fellow she was co-sponsor of the Students in Free Enterprise team at MSU which advanced to National Competition in May 2007.  She was included in the 2004 edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

Mrs. Madden’s professional career includes nine years of public accounting in Hazard, KY, and Lexington, KY, three years as accounting manager for the nation’s largest independent computer dealer in Lexington, KY, and five years as the comptroller of Midway College, a private women’s college located in Midway, KY.

Mrs. Madden received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and her Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University, graduating with high distinction.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.
