Dr. Daniel Vazzana joined the Business Administration and Economics Department in 2006. Prior to joining the department, Dan taught in the Economics and Business Department at Berea College for seven years. While teaching at Berea, he completed his doctorate at Purdue University in 2004. His dissertation examined the use of exclusive territories in the malt beverage industry. His current interests include the structure of the malt beverage industry, multiple proposer ultimatum games in experimental economics and service learning in economics.
Dan is a native of Baltimore, where he attended Loyola College of Maryland as an undergraduate. He still loves Maryland blue crab and often misses seeing the ocean although he does enjoy the mountains of Kentucky. He currently resides with his family in Berea.
