Phi Beta Lambda

Phi Beta Lambda is a national organization for college students who have an interest in business. The main goal of the organization is to develop competent, aggressive business leaders.

Opportunities for leadership development include planning and implementing activities such as:

  • a seminar for seniors on preparing for the future
  • a marketing plan for the World Equestrian Games
  • numerous state and national competitions
  • a community service project for the March of Dimes
  • co-sponsorship of the Career/Leadership Speaker Series

The Georgetown College chapter has been active since being chartered in 1972. The chapter has won numerous state and national awards for its projects, including two first place awards in American Enterprise Project and two second place awards in Partnership With Business Project at the National Leadership Conference.

Since the Outstanding Chapter award was initiated in Kentucky, Georgetown has been in the top five chapters every year.
