Phi Beta Lambda is a national organization for college students who have an interest in business.  The main goal of the organization is to develop competent, aggressive business leaders.  Opportunities for leadership development include planning and implementing activities such as an etiquette seminar for seniors, a survey for the Chamber of Commerce, an economic education program for elementary students, a community service project for the March of Dimes, and co-sponsorship of the Career/Leadership Speaker Series.

The Georgetown College chapter has been active since being chartered in 1972.  The chapter has won numerous state and national awards for its projects, including two first place awards in American Enterprise Project and two second place awards in Partnership With Business Project at the National Leadership Conference.  Since the Outstanding Chapter award was initiated in Kentucky, Georgetown has been in the top five chapters every year.
