Special Instructions and Information

Following are special instructions and information about various courses.  Please read carefully. This will help you determine when to take certain courses which ones have pre-requisites and so on.

For students in the regular MA programs (not MAAC or LBD) a page which may help you in planning is located at: "Advice."

Planning to finish next summer?  
A. If you plan to finish the regular MA by Summer 2008, AND you have not taken EDU 528, you must take it this spring.  
B. If you are earning the Reading/Writing endorsement, and have not taken EDU 563, you must take it this spring.   

 

Taking an online course? Make sure to read the "Online Course Information" page and the "Course Descriptions" page for the description of the courses you wish to take.

Prerequisites: Courses offered in the spring with prerequisites include:

1. EDU 528     pre-req is EDU 507

2. EDU 597     pre-req is EDU 596

3. EDU 563     pre-req is EDU 562

4. If you are enrolled in the current version of the Masters program, you must  have taken EDU 584 before taking EDU 591 or EDU 586 unless you have permission from the Graduate Director.

5.  For LBD students, The prerequisites for EDU 575 are ECE 501 and 502.
The prerequisites for ECE 576 are ECE 575 and ECE 503 AND completion of the two Praxis tests.
