in Gifted Education
Georgetown College plans to offer the next "round" of courses leading to endorsement in gifted education beginning in Summer 2006 with the course, "Foundations of Gifted Education." We plan to offer the two follow-up courses to this in Fall 2006 and Spring 2007. The fourth course, which involves techniques of teaching gifted and high-achieving students in the regular classroom, may be offered in Fall, 2006.
Time line:
Enrollment and Registration: If you are already in the M.A. or Rank 1 program at Georgetown College, the endorsement courses may count as part of your program. See your advisor about this.
If you are not enrolled at Georgetown College, you must first enroll as a visiting or a special student here before registering for the classes. Refer to the Education Department website for that information.
