Study Abroad

English students have several opportunities to study abroad, either for a short mini-term or for an entire semester or year at Oxford University.

Georgetown College works in partnership with Regent's Park College of Oxford University. This program provides students with up to one year of study in Oxford. The Program Coordinator is Dr. Steven May, whose office is in Pawling Hall. His telephone is (502) 863-8126.

The English Department periodically sponsors mini-term courses that take students to London for two weeks of theatre and culture studies. No course is scheduled for 2003, but students interested in the possibility of such a program should contact Dr. Rosemary Allen at 8131.

Numerous other programs make it possible for students to receive Georgetown College credit for study abroad. For details on these programs, contact Dr. Glen Taul, Director of International Programs, at 863-8392
