As a service to students, GC has arranged to offer a special program to improve reading and learning skills in academic subjects. 

The opportunity can significantly influence both the quantity and quality of work in college and graduate school. Last year, Georgetown College students who took the Baldridge course improved their reading rate by 89%. 

In order to increase comprehension, reading speed, and improve study skills, freshmen can sign up for the one-week Baldridge Reading and Study Skills Program which usually begins in September. This program is not a part of GC's curriculum and is sponsored by an independent company. 

Information about sign up for the course will be sent to the student’s home address in the summer or call 440-946-9968.  Cost of the course is $120.
