Freshman
Seminar (GSC 101) is a dynamic 1-hour credit course designed to
help freshmen with their transition to college life.
You
will learn about how to succeed academically as you engage in
activities and discussions. Your instructor serves as your
Freshman Advisor, and your class will have a Peer Leader.
In
the course you meet other freshmen and discuss such topics as:
participate
in the Alpine Challenge course (ROPES)
discover
study abroad opportunities at GC
explore Georgetown's many majors and minors
This
course counts as credit toward the 120 hours you need for
graduation.
Freshman
Seminar is only offered to freshman in the fall semester--so
sign up for it when you register for courses (listed as GSC
