Grading and Evaluation of
Students: The following grading scale will be used
in this course: A 90-100; B 80-89; C 70-79; D 60-69; F 59
and below. Final semester grades for the course will be determined
by counting the course assignments and exams in the following
proportions: exam 1-25 percent; exam 2-25 percent; exam 3-25
percent; Canadian national identity analysis paper-15 percent;
average of current events paper-10 percent. Class attendance will also affect the final semester grade. See the section on attendance.
