INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING
MICROSOFT PUBLISHER 2002 OVER THE CAMPUS NETWORK

Microsoft Publisher 2002 provides an easy to use publication development and editing tool for brochures, flyers, booklets, and other publications.

This installation occurs in the background and requires no intervention once started.  There will be no apparent activity except the occasional chatter from your hard drive as files are downloaded.  Do not interrupt the installation.  If you feel for some reason the installation is hung, please call the Help Desk for assistance.

This Publisher 2002 installation requires at least Windows 98 to run and 110MB free disk space.

This installation takes approximately 30 minutes to complete on a 166mhz Pentium with 64MB RAM.  You computer will reboot once during the installation, so exit all applications before running this installation routine.

1. Click the Start button, choose Run, then type \\reba\mspub2002\setup.exe and click OK.
2. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen and click on Ok or Next as appropriate.

After your system reboots, log back on. Publisher will continue installing for a few more minutes.

When the installation has complete an icon for Microsoft Publisher will be placed on your desktop and in your  Programs menu.
