

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING
DISK COPY FOR MACS OVER THE CAMPUS NETWORK

Disk Copy is a utility that mounts disk images on your desktop,
makes copies of floppy disks from a disk image, converts disk images from one
format to another, and other disk copy and creation functions. Read the
Quick Reference file after installing Disk Copy for a complete description.
- From the Apple Menu select Chooser and then click the Appleshare icon.
- Scroll down the list of File Servers until you find ROSCOE and double
click that name.
- Enter your network logon ID in the Name: field and your network password
in the Password: field and click OK.
- Highlight the item "macsoftware" and click ok. A drive
icon named "macsoftware" will appear on your desktop.
- Close Chooser.
- Open the macsoftware drive on your desktop.
- Drag the Disk Copy 6.3.2.smi icon to your desktop.
- Double click the Disk Copy 6.3.2.smi icon on your desktop to install.
