INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING
MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE 2003 ARE UNDER DEVELOPMENT

Microsoft Frontpage 2000 is available to all students at Georgetown College as a result of the College's participation in Microsoft's Campus Agreement Program.  The following instructions will download and install and fully functioning version of Frontpage 2000 to your computer that will run independently without being connected to Georgetown's network.  This installation will thus work off-campus and under Campus Agreement the installation is legally yours to keep when you leave Georgetown.

This Frontpage 2000 installation requires at least Windows 95 to run, and ITS recommends a minimum 166mhz Pentium computer with 32MB RAM.  This installation requires 100MB free disk space.

This installation takes approximately 20 minutes to complete on a 166mhz Pentium with 32MB RAM.  You computer will reboot once during the installation, so exit all applications before running this installation routine.

  1. Click the Start button, choose Run, then type \\roscoe\ms2000\frontpage\setup.exe and click OK.
  2. At the "Welcome" screen enter your name and initials (initials optional) and click Next.
  3. At the "Ready to Install screen click the Customize button.
  4. Click Next.
  5. At the "Selecting Features" screen, click the Microsoft Frontpage for Windows disk icon at the top of the listing and then click "Run all from my computer."
  6. Click Install Now.
  7. After some time the Installer will want to restart your computer.  Let it by clicking Yes.

After your system reboots, log back on. Frontpage will continue installing for a few more minutes.

When the installation has complete an icon for Microsoft Frontpage will be placed on your Programs menu.
