Microsoft Publisher 2000 is available to all students at Georgetown College as a result of the College's participation in Microsoft's Campus Agreement Program. The following instructions will download and install a fully functioning version of Publisher 2000 to your computer that will run independently without being connected to Georgetown's network. This installation will thus work off-campus and under Campus Agreement the installation is legally yours to keep when you leave Georgetown.
This Publisher 2000 installation requires at least Windows 95 to run, and ITS recommends a minimum 166mhz Pentium computer with 32MB RAM. This installation requires 146MB free disk space.
This installation takes approximately 30 minutes to complete on a 166mhz Pentium with 32MB RAM. You computer will reboot once during the installation, so exit all applications before running this installation routine.
After your system reboots, log back on. Publisher will continue installing for a few more minutes.
When the installation has complete an icon for Microsoft Publisher will be placed on your Programs menu.
