INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING
TRANSPARENT LANGUAGE MODULES OVER THE CAMPUS NETWORK

Transparent Language modules provide computer-based multimedia applications to supplement foreign language acquisition and proficiency though the use of readings, excercises, and games. Georgetown College currently offers modules in French, German, Latin, and Spanish. Each module requires a userid and password which will be supplied by your instructor in that language. For ids, passwords, and other information regarding Transparent Language modules please contact your instructor. Transparent Language requires either Windows 95 or Windows NT to run.
1. Map a drive to \\abraham\tl5.
2. Create a shortcut to run your module of Transparent Language:

| Choose New, Shortcut, and in the command line field type x:\french\tlw.exe where x is drive letter chosen in step 1. | |
| Click Next, choose an identifier for the shortcut, and click Finish. |
