AIKCU Frankfort Spring Internship

  • In even-numbered years, students work directly with state legislators – responding to constituent inquiries, assisting in the crafting and passage of legislation, and performing other duties integral to the legislative process. In odd-numbered years, students are placed in a variety of administrative offices within state government. AIKCU interns work at least thirty hours per week and complete two evening seminars focused upon government and public policy issues. Interns are eligible for up to fifteen hours of classroom credit in accordance with the student’s home campus policies. Interns receive a monthly living stipend during their internship experience.
