The Classics Minor

The Classics Minor consists of eighteen hours, as follows:
       
bulletThree hours of fourth semester Latin or Greek reading course (Latin or Greek 202)
       
bulletSix additional hours of Latin or Greek, to be selected from the following:
     
  Latin 101-102, 201
  REL 103-104, 203, 204  (New Testament Greek)
  Greek 201  (reading Homeric Greek)
  Greek 202  (reading Classical Greek)
     
bulletNine additional hours, to be selected from the following:
       
  PHI 201 History of Philosophy I
  ART 216 Survey of World Art I
  ENG 314 Epic Poetry
  CLA 314 Mythology in Greek and Roman Literature
  CLA 316 Ancient Drama
  CLA 370 Topics in Classical Literature
      (Topics to include:  "Women and Gender in Antiquity" and "From Lyric to Satire: Greek and Roman Poetry)
  POS 400 Classical Political Theory
  HIS 412 Ancient History
       
  Any Latin or Greek course above 101/103 level not counted above
  Any Classics course taken on the KIIS Greece program.
