Dr. Adela Borrallo-Solís a native of Cáceres, Spain, received her Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has taught Spanish language and literature at Kalamazoo College (1996-1997),  Michigan State University (1998-2000) and University of Colorado at Boulder (2000-2005). Dr. Borrallo-Solís is currently an Assistant Professor of Spanish Language and Literature and Coordinator of the Spanish Program at Georgetown College. Her primary field of interest is 19th century Peninsular Literature, with special emphasis on Benito Pérez Galdós. She has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences and has published in Tropos, Confluencia, Hispania and Estreno. She is currently working on several projects on Galdós and Spanish Films.
