Twenty-one hours of which 9 hours must be from a single area

Language (6 hours)

  • JPN 201
  • JPN 202
  • other Asian languages to intermediate level with approval of program coordinator

Liberal Arts (15 hours, included HIS 211 or HIS 213)
At least one course must be taken from a discipline other than Japanese and History, i.e. Philosophy/Religion, Economics, Political Science or other discipline from approved topics course (such as Art, Theatre, etc.).
