Georgetown College was delighted to host the 2009
Kentucky High School District 7-11 All-State Regional Choirs in rehearsal for
the ninth consecutive
year. The
event was coordinated by Ms. Tiffany Marsh (Western Hills H.
S.). Rehearsals were directed by the
following music professionals:

SATB: Mr. Brent Merritt (Scott
County H.S.); Ms. Nina Belle Durr
(Georgetown, KY, accompanist). Cooke Lobby

SSAA: Ms. Raye Hurley (Franklin
County H.S.); Mr. Daniel Ng (Georgetown College Disney
Scholar, accompanist). John L. Hill Chapel

TTBB: Ms. Ellen Burt Crawford
(Paul Laurence Dunbar H. S.); Mr. Larry Crawford, (Dunbar accompanist).

With an outside temperature of only FIVE DEGREES, these students could
NOT
resist the temptation to warm up a bit in the steam escaping from the
boiler room of
John L. Hill Chapel. Either that, or they were playing a game of
Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire.
