GEORGETOWN COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC
MUSIC MAJOR / MINOR DECLARATION FORM

(Effective with Fall 2002 Curriculum Change)

College policy requires that students declare a major and minor at the beginning of the junior year.  Due to the fact that music department funds are awarded specifically for students following a music major or music minor track beginning with the first semester, the department requests this information at the time of the music scholarship offer.  Students are free to change to another major or minor at any time; however, the music department major/minor award will be adjusted accordingly.  (The college does not have a provision for increasing existing music scholarships.)  If a student is also receiving college grant or other funds, that portion of the music scholarship will not be adjusted, provided that the student continues to participate in a primary ensemble.

Please verify your intent to enter Georgetown College as either a music major or music minor by selecting the appropriate music track below:  (check one)
