MISSION STATEMENT

Recognizing that the "arts are not a luxury of education, but that which makes education worthwhile," the Department of Music seeks to provide wide and varied experiences with and about music for all members of our campus community.  Through active and passive interaction with musical offerings, the department seeks to enhance the intellectual, spiritual and social growth of Georgetown College.
