The following repertoire applies primarily to saxophone majors, although some works may be appropriate for minors.  The Methods & Repertoire portion of this syllabus is patterned after the one used by SB while at Northwestern University.

SPRING:  Major Scales in Broken Thirds, from memory, covering the entire range of the instrument.

Note:  While the above literature is listed as first-year repertoire, many of the pieces are quite difficult.  The purpose in listing them here is that these pieces will necessarily require practice over a several-year period, if not a lifetime, to bring them to musical maturation.
