A Great Day for Georgetown
College
A Great Day for our Tiger Bands
Ending an unprecedented early "push" this Fall
- during which we had five Tiger Band Events, Performances and
Activities in four weeks ~ including our annual TBLE&B [Tiger Band
Leadership Event & Barbecue 9/5]], the Home-Opener Football Game [McKendree
(IL) 9/6] and Tiger Football [Cumberland (TN) 9/13] ~ we get to
September 19.
On this special day, the Band
Scholars lived up to the historic epitaph of our Tiger Bands ...
"Music for All Occasions" as the Tiger Symphonic Band had the
privilege and pleasure of performing for the George H. W. Bush
Center for Fitness Naming Ceremony in the morning and our
much-beloved FTGPB [aka Fighting Tiger Grrr... Pep Band] continued
our relationship with the fine folks at the Windsor Gardens
Retirement Center in the afternoon.
