On behalf of the Band Scholars and our Tiger Bands, I would like most-cordially invite you to KUG II,
our Keep Us Grrr…ing Band Dinner that shall be held on
Friday, February 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM
in the Montgomery Café in the Cralle Student Center

Features of the 2012 KUG II
● a great meal [in partnership with Sodexo Dining Services]
● each table served and hosted by Band Scholars
● great guest speakers
● special video and audio presentations
● special performances by solo and chamber ensembles

KUG II tickets are 25.00 per person
and may be obtained from any current Band Scholar, online by writing to peter_larue@georgetowncollege.edu
or by calling the Band Office – 502.863.8054.
All proceeds will materially benefit the Band Scholars and our Tiger Bands at Georgetown College.

Your Tiger Bands are currently raising monies to support …
● the participation of the seven Band Scholars selected to participate in the prestigious 2012 Kentucky Intercollegiate Band

● new music/expenses for our Annual Spring Concert
● travels monies to support our Teams and our College at the local MSC Tournament in Frankfort
● upkeep and maintenance of instruments
● general, necessary operating monies

The KUG II Dinner enables your Tiger Bands to support many on and off-campus events as we did during the fall …
● ongoing relationship with the Windsor Gardens Retirement Center
● Colt and Filly Review as part of the Georgetown Festival of the Horse
● performance at Western Elementary – Academic Celebration
● Fall Food Collection as part of our Fall Anniversary Concert
● performances at Toyota Stadium supporting our Football Tigers – regular season and post-season play
● performances at David-Reid Alumni Gymnasium supporting our Tiger and Lady Tigers
● performance at the Fall VIP Day – Admissions
