Course Information The Georgetown College Symphonic Band is a large instrumental ensemble comprised of both music majors and students majoring in a wide variety of other academic pursuits. The ensemble is engaged in the preparation and performance of a wide variety of quality literature composed, transcribed or arranged for winds and percussion. Concerts will be performed both on and off campus with all efforts being geared towards excellence in performance. The
"Fighting Tiger Grrr...Pep Band" [FTGPB] is an integral offering of
the instrumental program at Georgetown College. This ensemble has
catapulted itself to be the focal point of excitement and enthusiasm for
our campus. "FTGPB" performs at many home athletic events,
many campus-wide special events, community events and travels throughout
the region and the country. Membership is open to any Georgetown College
student, providing they are exemplars of the "Five-Fold Band
Tenets", adhere to the spirit and intent of our GC Tiger Bands and
have permission of the Director.
