Today ~ Sunday, April 1 - the Band Scholars
of our Tiger Symphonic Band had the great privilege and pleasure
to travel to Wilmore, KY and the campus of Asbury College to
perform on Part II of the 2006-2007 JCS which we began last fall
with our great friends from Asbury.

Our portion of the program was comprised of
works by Vaughan Williams, Tchesnokov and King. Our featured Band
Scholar was Jon C. Myers - who was both composer and trombone
soloist on "Jon's Tune" - which had its first public hearing today
on the JCS II. |
