Special Guests and the Guest Conductor Mini-Series are an integral part of
our Tiger Band offerings. We are fortunate and blessed to have these very
special opportunities.
For a few years, as with many
things, budgetary exigencies caused us to not schedule a GCMS. Last spring
[2008] we were delighted to welcome the legendary trombone artist Richard
L. Cryder to the world of our Tiger Bands for a few days. This year
[because of the Band Buck situation], we shall certainly not "plan" any
events - but when "opportunity knocks - please know we shall open the
door". Special Guests and the GCMS is/are one of our "extension" programs that most-positively contributes to the growth and development of our Tiger Band Program.
