Dear Music 314 Scholars,

Good Morning and I hope this finds you well. It is hard to imagine – but – our time together grows short. To this end, there follows the “End-Game Strategy” which we shall follow regarding our Music 314 journey ~ which has been a bit whacky indeed. - please submit under “other” a “brief” [2 pages or so] paper on “WHY” music must be included in any educational system or plan [using whichever “reinforcements” you feel are most important]

- Talking Points ~ brief discussion of Messrs Orff, Kodaly, Dalcroze & Suzuki
- Practicum ~ Christmas Carol #2

Wednesday, December 12
- Final Examination – Practicum Portion

01) a patchen activity [short] designed to [you choose] introduce/reinforce a concept, change activities, introduce student’s names, et al

02) hand singing/signing – while speaking syllable names – a major scale …
