Audio Examples

There follows a listing of musical examples which shall be used during the course of the semester to augment, enhance or further illustrate key musical concepts or elements. These are in addition to the "Required Listening Selections" [chosen from the Norton Listening Guides for Mini-Module IV and Modules V and VI] for Music 107 Scholars.

These are interesting and in some cases, historically significant musical examples. I hope that you will find these audio examples to stimulate your ongoing, growth and understanding of the wonderful world of music. Enjoy.

These "Audio Examples" have been digitalized as "wav" files or mp3's on a restricted network drive and may be accessed and used only by Peter LaRue in support of classroom lectures and discussions for 8:00 Scholars. Each example is from a LP album or CD in the personal library of the instructor.
