[to tune of Blow, Thy Hunter Horn]

Step 1: "draft" persons for bass drum, finger cymbals, tom-tom
Step 2: have "percussion" section practice their part
Step 3: have rest of class stand in a circle - facing "clock-wise"
Step 4: all turns - are turns to the left
Step 5: always start on your left foot
Step 6: practice each "step" [one at a time]

Introduction [24 beats, just percussion, 6 bars of 4 beats]
Bass Drum on beats 1&3; Finger cymbals on beats 2&4, Tom-Tom on beats 3-4
piece is divided into several stanzas of 6, four bar phrases

Dance begins at letter A [verse] everyone needs to be in a circle

step, rest, step, rest-turn, 2, 3, 4
step, rest, step, rest-stomp, 2, 3, 4
step, rest, step, rest-left-hop, rest, stomp-right, rest---

Repeat as necessary
