Blackboard System is Being Moved to a New Server

This move will be delayed until December, you need not suspend working on your courses this weekend.

James Holbrook is moving Blackboard to a new server and this should happen on or before Aug 23rd. When he does this, the courses and students for Fall 2002 will be loaded on the new server. Then, if everything goes well, Andrea will be going through the e-mails that have sent to merge course, archive courses, restore courses from archive, etc. This will done this Saturday, the 24th. When Andrea is reasonably sure that all have been done, the new Blackboard server will be activated. We will keep the old information, however, for a few weeks until it is certain that everything is working well. Here is what you need to do:

If you have made ANY changes to a FALL 2002 class before Saturday, please email Andrea and let her know.
Stop adding information to your classes after Friday night so Andrea can copy your information on Saturday.
