Justification and Margins
Here you determine how much space exists between the
edge of the paper and the text (margins) and how the text is
aligned within the margins (justification).
Justification
Justification refers to how text is
aligned within the left/right margins
- Left Justification
means text is aligned at the left margin (default)
- Right Justification
means text is aligned at the right margin
- Center Justification
means text is centered between the margins
- Full Justification
means that extra spaces are added, at random, between words to
give you a smooth right and left margin
To set the justification of the selected paragraph(s) you may
either
- click on the appropriate button on the Formatting Toolbar or use the
appropriate keyboard shortcut
- <Align Left> for left justification

- <Center> for center justification

- or press Ctrl+E (Windows) or press Cmd+E (Macintosh)
- <Align Right> for right justification

- <Justify> for full justification

Margins
The margin settings for one or more
paragraphs may be (re)set by adjusting the appropriate left/right
indent markers on the ruler.
