There are times when you may wish to print your worksheet and show the formulas and functions rather than the result. To do that:
All cells with formulas or functions will now display the formulas or the functions instead of the result; this is what will be printed. Note that this will make your spreadsheet larger so it may now print on more than one page!
There may be some situations where you wish to not display the row/column headings. To do this:
Now the column headings (A, B, C, etc.) and the row headings (1, 2, 3, etc.) will not be displayed.
You control whether or not the row/column headings are printed in the Page Setup Dialog Box. See the discussion of the Sheet tab under Page Setup
You control whether or not the gridlines are printed in the Page Setup Dialog Box. See the discussion of the Sheet tab under Page Setup. They can be printed whether they are displayed or not.
Lastly, there may be situations where you do not want to have the gridlines displayed. This is particular useful when you insert an Excel spreadsheet in a PowerPoint presentation. To do this:
Now the gridlines that are normally displayed are gone!
